Science Class Monday was all about flowers.
Today we learned about flowers, we examined a flower under a magnifying glass, and we then carefully dissected the flower, we examined each section of the flower and put them in order on a piece of card.
Next, we made a pattern on some special paper and put it out in the sun, we watched as the sun changed the colour of the paper from blue to light blue/white, we then brought it back inside and put water on it to stop the process and the white bits changed to blue and the blue bits changed to white leaving us with a nice picture.
Next, we took some cloth, put flower petals and leaves on it, and then hammered them to make a picture with the colours. This was really good, lots of fun
